Painting Sweet Cherry Peppers
These cute, Sweet Cherry peppers were also new in my garden this year. This drawing is actual size and completed with Copic Multiliner pen, and watercolour pencils.
The pepper was placed in direct lighting in my studio so the shadow was strong. I liked how the right side of the pepper disappeared into the shadow, and was pleased to accomplish this look on paper with watercolour pencils. The splatter happened accidentally, so I added more on purpose!
Watercolour pencils used: Faber-Castell's, Albrecht Durer - Pine Green #267, Madder #142, Permanent Green #167, and Delft Blue #141 for the shadow. The background colours are: Derwent Metallic Blue #90, and Metallic Antique Gold #83
I will be talking more about the metallic pencils in the near future.
